Special Olympics BC – Elk Valley is always welcoming athletes and volunteers to get involved in our joyful community!

Registration

After filling out the athlete or volunteer registration form on our registration page using the link above, please submit your registration form to elkvalley@specialolympics.bc.ca

All new and returning Special Olympics BC athletes and volunteers must register annually in order to participate in SOBC programs.

Note that our community might not currently offer all of the sports listed on the registration form. After you submit your form, Special Olympics will contact you to confirm your registration and provide more information. We look forward to your involvement!

About SOBC – Elk Valley

Special Olympics BC – Elk Valley is based out of Fernie, but also serves Elkford, Sparwood, and South Country up to the Bull River and down to the U.S. border.

In a typical season we offer  snowshoe, bocce, golf, and swimming.

We are currently looking to build our youth programs within the valley – Active start and FUNdamentals for children with intellectual disabilities ages 2 to 11.

At this time we are actively seeking Admin members for the local committee -  Program Coordinator, Secretary and Fundraising Coordinator, as well as coaches and athletes to join our community. Please contact us for more information and to get involved!
