Special Olympics BC – Castlegar is always welcoming athletes and volunteers to get involved in our joyful community!

Registration

After filling out the athlete or volunteer registration form on our registration page using the link above, please submit your registration form to castlegar.registration@specialolympics.bc.ca. 

All new and returning Special Olympics BC athletes and volunteers must register annually in order to participate in SOBC programs.

Note that our community might not currently offer all of the sports listed on the registration form. After you submit your form, Special Olympics will contact you to confirm your registration and provide more information. We look forward to your involvement!

About SOBC – Castlegar

Special Olympics BC – Castlegar consists of a great group of enthusiastic athletes and volunteers. Our Local is currently offering 5-pin bowling,  floor ball, bocce and swimming and golf, for athletes 13 years of age and older.

We also offer youth programs for children with intellectual disabilities: Active Start for 2-6 year olds and FUNdamentals for 7-12 year olds. If you have any questions or a child who might be interested please contact us at castlegar@specialolympics.bc.ca
