The Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program provides free, fun health screenings and education for people with intellectual disabilities. Through Healthy Athletes, health care professionals receive training about the specific health care concerns of people with intellectual disabilities and how to ask the right questions, helping them draw out issues.

Bus transportation from Castlegar to Cranbrook has been arranged, with a stop in Creston. Anyone who is able to make it to Castlegar to take the bus is welcome. Please indicate by Thursday, November 6 if you would like to take the bus on the second page of the registration form. 

The disciplines at this Healthy Athlete screenings will be Special Smiles and Healthy Hearing.
