In 55 communities across the province, Special Olympics athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities and volunteers bring transformative year-round sport, youth, and health programs to life.

Each year, we proudly recognize the communities who are marking anniversary seasons. Thank you for your inspiring ongoing dedication to making a difference through the power of sport and being part of this life-changing movement.

“Special Olympics is important to me because it’s a safe place where I can be accepted for who I am and be authentic.”
    -Christine Magnusson, SOBC – Langley
